Dual diagnosis outpatient chemical dependency and mental health treatment center. Element offers services to the general public, as well as some very specific services such as Gender Therapy for individuals in transition, LGBT specific chemical dependency outpatient treatment program and several LGBT support groups.

GLBT in Recovery was created to aid the recovery community in staying clean and sober.

We are of members of the GLBT recovery community who have joined together to coordinate awareness and education about recovery in the GLBT community and provide clean and sober social events.

• GLBT in Recovery provides awareness and education in the GLBT community by sponsoring the GLBT Hospitality Room at Gopher State Roundup, MinneSober, and visibility at the Pride Festival.

• We publish a list of GLBT Meetings in Minnesota and the GLBT in Recovery Newsletter.

• We maintain a web site.

• We support seminars and workshops about recovery.

• We provide clean and sober social functions for the GLBT recovering community.

• We try to aid the recovering community in any way we can.

Recovery In Action Sober Housing (GLBT)

Provides 12-step based sober living for gay, lesbian, bi, and transgender  people recovering from alcoholism and drug addiction at two homes in Minneapolis,  Minnesota. Twenty beds are available with fees ranging from $500-$550 a month, plus one month’s deposit.
